Awards ceremonies are a great way to kick off the return of in-person meetings. And it is even more memorable if you are receiving not one, not two, but three awards at the event!
During Allergan Aesthetics’ “The Future of Aesthetics 2022” event held on 6 July 2022, the pharmaceutical company presented three awards to Halley Medical Aesthetics for our achievements in the fields of body contouring and facial aesthetics. Allergan Aesthetics is the pharmaceutical company behind many facial aesthetic and body contouring brands like Botox, the Juvederm range of dermal fillers, and CoolSculpting, a fat reduction treatment.
At the awards ceremony, Dr. Terence Tan received the following awards on the clinics’ behalf:
- Prestige Award 2022
- Body Contouring Diamond Award 2022
- Facial Aesthetics Gold Award 2022
The Prestige Award is awarded to aesthetic clinics that have clinched both the Body Contouring and Facial Aesthetics awards of which Halley secured the top two tiers – Diamond and Gold – respectively.
The Prestige Award was presented by Paul Venables, Allergan Aesthetics’ director for strategic marketing, Asia Sub-Region to Dr. Terence Tan.
Dr. Terence Tan received the Body Contouring Diamond Award 2022 presented by Ashish Joshi, head of marketing for Allergan Aesthetics in Asia on the clinic’s behalf.
Kelvin Toh, head of sales for Singapore, Malaysia, and Philippines for Allergan Aesthetics presented the Facial Aesthetics Gold Award 2022 to Dr. Terence Tan.
The art behind the science of facial aesthetics
Facial aesthetics is the use of therapies such as dermal fillers, botulinum neuromodulators (Botox, Dysport, and Xeomin), threadlift, and face rejuvenating treatments like Ultherapy to shape and contour a person’s face. With these treatments, you can sharpen your face to give yourself a v-shaped face or augment certain features like your nose bridge, lips, forehead, and temples.

Dr. Terence Tan was the lead researcher for the study, “High Participant Satisfaction Achieved Using Cryolipolysis for Fat Reduction of the Abdomen and Flanks”, which was published in the Aesthetic Surgery Journal in December 2021. This research has been presented in international meetings from Monaco and Spain to Japan, China, and the Middle East.
