How does vein removal
laser treatment work?
The Long-Pulsed Nd:YAG laser has a 1,064nm wavelength that closes off veins with bursts of high intensity laser beams. These laser pulses specifically target the red pigments, or haemoglobin, in the skin without affecting the surface of the skin.
What can I expect
during the treatment?
Each treatment session may take 15-30 minutes to complete depending on the area of treatment. Numbing cream is applied on the skin for about 20 minutes before the procedure to make the experience more comfortable.
Minimal post treatment care is required. The treated area may look flushed immediately after the laser treatment for a few hours. While you may resume normal activities, please minimise sun exposure for a week and apply sunblock daily.
