Aren’t they the same? Doesn’t CoolSculpting use cooling technology to freeze unwanted fat cells? Well yes, but they are not the same. Let us break it down for you.
CoolSculpting is fat freezing but fat freezing is not CoolSculpting.
Fat freezing, or cryolipolysis is the name of the process that freezes your fat cells and removes them, whereas CoolSculpting is the brand of the machine that carries out fat freezing.
What this means is that any machine that freezes fat or carries out the process of cryolipolysis is a fat freezing machine and undergoing a treatment with any one of these machines would mean that you have undergone a fat freezing treatment. CoolSculpting is therefore a fat freezing treatment, but fat freezing with other machines like those from Korea is not a CoolSculpting treatment.
