What is Fotona4D Laser?

Fotona 4D Laser is a non-invasive skin treatment that offers a multi-dimensional approach to skin rejuvenation. The technology combines multiple laser wavelengths and techniques to create a synergistic effect, targeting various layers of the skin, addressing both superficial and deeper concerns to achieve a more youthful and refreshed appearance.

1D Step 1: SmoothLiftin™

This non-ablative, intraoral treatment kickstarts the tightening process around the jawline and perioral region, reducing expression lines like nasolabial folds and wrinkles. A non-ablative laser treatment is where a laser is used to resurface the skin without injury to the skin surface.

2D Step 2: FRAC3®

This step targets deeper imperfections and large pores to restore a youthful texture and more uniform overall complexion.

3D Step 3: PIANO®

This is a brushing technique that uses safe and gentle heating to tighten and lift, resulting in firmer skin.

4D Step 4: SupErficial™

This is a light laser peel to improve the appearance of the skin and address surface-level imperfections. You’ll notice skin that’s more refreshed, lifted, and glowy.

How does Halley’s Fotona4D Laserwork?

4D Lifting Laser = Four Dimensions (4Ds) = Four Steps. The 4D Lifting Laser uses four dimensions of rejuvenation or treatment modes to tighten the skin from inside out.

1D Step 1: SmoothLiftin™

The Fotona4D Laser treatment starts inside the mouth, where laser energy is used to immediately kickstart the tightening process around the jawline and perioral region. This step will also reduce expression lines like the nasolabial folds and wrinkles, much like a filler, but naturally.

2D Step 2: FRAC3®

Next, to complement the intraoral treatment, deeper imperfections (like deep lines) and large pores are precisely targeted to restore a youthful texture and more uniform overall complexion.

3D Step 3: PIANO®

In step three, a brushing technique is used to safely and rapidly apply heating to create an overall tightening effect, resulting in more firm and lifted skin.

4D Step 4: SupErficial™ Micropeel

Lastly, a light laser peel is done to improve the appearance of the skin and address surface-level imperfections. You’ll immediately notice that your skin looks refreshed, tighter, and you will enjoy a youthful glow!

FAQs

In general, three to four monthly treatments are required to tune your skin to great shape. Thereafter, we recommend four to six monthly maintenance treatments.

 

Although numbing cream is generally not needed, it can be applied to the skin and left on for about 15 mins to numb the treatment area. A numbing liquid is sprayed inside your mouth to numb your intraoral area for more comfort.

 

Minimal to no downtime is expected and you may carry on your daily activities. However, it is advisable to avoid excessive sun exposure three to four days before and after treatment. Apply sunscreen before going out to protect your post-laser skin from Singapore’s scorching sun.
