Collagen-stimulating fillers or non-hyaluronic acid fillers

Collagen-stimulating fillers use ingredients that stimulate our body’s own collagen for long-lasting results. They are also known as bio-stimulating fillers. They contain safe, synthetically produced compounds that volumise the treated area and stimulate the body’s fibroblasts to produce collagen. This results in very natural, long-lasting volumisation.

The “Magic Needle”, also known as the micro-cannula, is a blunt, flexible wire that slides easily under the skin to apply the dermal filler.

Why is the micro-cannula technique important?

Firstly, it fills the treated area more evenly and naturally. It also minimises bleeding and lowers the chances of complications. It is thus safer, with fewer possible side effects, due to it requiring only one injection point compared to the traditional multiple injection points.

Did my first Ultherapy with Dr Terence Tan in Oct 2019. Hubs saw result on day itself and more visible V lifting 2 weeks after. Many great comments from friends who noticed the positive firming and lifting. A tad painful but Dr Tan provided strong painkillers and numbing cream that was useful!
